Dear Community Members,
On behalf of the Embrace Refugees BC Society in partnership with B-YES (Black Youth
Empowerment & Support) and, Afro-Canadian Positive Network of BC, we are
pleased to invite you to a special Black History Month virtual event titled “Healing in
Community.”
This conversation will focus on Black mental health for immigrants, refugees, and
families, and will create space for learning, sharing, and collective care. Together, we aim
to highlight culturally grounded approaches to healing while strengthening connections
within our communities.
